The bluewater house is nestled on 100 feet of private shoreline on stunning Big Glen Lake. The crystal blue water offers boatloads of activity...or just enjoy the quiet serenity and spectacular scenery!
Located in Leelanau County near Glen Arbor on M-22, bluewater house is on the west shore of the lake and is 25 miles northwest of Traverse City. Big Glen Lake is approximately 3 1/2 miles wide and is surrounded by picturesque wooded hills. The Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes lie between adjacent Little Glen Lake and Lake Michigan.
What to do in Leelanau County? In the summer, try swimming, boating, fishing, hiking, biking, charter fishing on Lake Michigan, golfing, tennis, dune climbing, canoeing, shopping, visitng local wineries or just relaxing!

Autumn offers a magnificent burst of color and once-in-a-lifetime views. During the winter wonderland months you can enjoy downhill or cross county skiing, snow shoeing, Nordic walking, or snowmobiling. Plus, many wonderful restaurants await you all year round.
Our two lakeside suites, North Manitou and South Manitou, include a walk-out to your own private patio, a living/dining room with cable TV, DVD/VCR, Wireless Internet, a well equipped kitchen, and a full bath. Each suite has 2 bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with single and a bunk bed (sleeps 3). Both suites include a sleeper couch and accomodate a maximum of 7 people (up to 4 adults) an interconnecting Cottage Room is also available.
Reservations during the summer are by the week (Saturday to Saturday). Bed linens are included, guests are asked to furnish their own towels. Arrival time is 3 pm. Check out time is 11 am.
After the summer weekly rental season, we offer daily rates (2 night minimum).

A bed and breakfast option is also available. For up to 2 mornings, we serve a gourmet breakfast in the Cottage Room that adjoins the suites.
